Today, in our Biology class we defined hormones, a picture that shows glands which secrets hormones and the effects and an example of adrenaline. I worked with Bautista Olaizola
1)Hormone: A chemical substance produced in the body that controls and regulates the activity of certain cells or organs.
3) The effects of adrenaline are that it makes your heart beat faster, supplying oxygen to your brain and muscles more quickly. This give you more energy. Also, bloos vessels in your skin and digestive system contract so that they carry very little blood, this make you go pale and gives you “butterflies in your stomach”. Then, it causes the pupils in the eye to widen. Finally, adrenaline makes the liver to release glucose into the blood.
